Jordan Vauvert Fin 2016, Liminal Dream sortait deux œuvres : d'abord Drifting, puis A Train in Desolation ; ces deux albums mettaient en avant une douleur qui vous prenaient à la gorge (surtout le deuxième). Cette Unreleased demo datant du début de l'année 2016 annonçait-elle cette direction ?
Eh bien pas vraiment. Les deux titres intégralement instrumentaux sont d'une chaleur assez exceptionnelle, multipliant les ambiances sans jamais s'égarer (japonaise au début du premier morceau par exemple). Superbe ! Favorite track: Calzä Ollhcëfvtärä.

Comme avec Trhä, 2023 sera pour Sadness une année de splits — le seul album qui déroge à cette série pour l'instant, c'est la compilation Old Songs 2013. Avec sadness // for her..., Damián démontre qu'il sait toujours aussi bien choisir ses partenaires : le black metal atmosphérique de for her... est d'un cynisme cruel, la partie ambiante n'apportant aucun secours.
